I have read as much of this as I am ever going to read 6 essays I didn't like it because though I am interested in activism in my rhetoric career I am also interested in convincing prose with a depth of analysis completely missing from the essays I read They read like impassioned calls to arms but those only work if people are already fully convinced of your arguments and are just being lazy I hated how many of the essays I read did not bother to look at any other views besides their own It's hard to find a writer convincing when he can't sympathetically portray the arguments of his opponents Anyway glad to be done with this one
