While I could not create a garden like Alan's simply because we live on opposite ends of the world, I still enjoyed seeing the beauty of his relaxed but completely gorgeous garden.

This was a delightful tour of Mr Titchmarsh's garden not a how too, the prose was very readable and down to earth, not too long or preachy. He even used hoicked a word we don't often see. Pictures were beautiful. I really like that he showed the same view in all the seasons. I finished reading it in 2 days a record for this type of book which I usually take slowly. I will definitely revisit over the next few days.

Great book and a real inspiration to do more with my own plot. Nice to see what a really successful gardener does with his own private garden.

Nice house set in 4 acres and a thorough account of the seasons in this new garden.

I like Alan and read both his fiction and his gardening books and he never disappoints.
