This is the first book in the 'Himu' series by Humayun Ahmed And it's also the first Bengali book I've read excluding the short stories for childrenI really liked the book it was uite funny My favourite part would probably be when Badol said that he was burning his books and also shaking his head in front of the fire so that the lice would fall and die I laughed out loud at that part Hopefully I'll read of the series

The first of the series this book introduces the famous Himu a man forced to be a 'Superman' by his deranged father However his uest takes existential turns when he finds that the reality his father created for him is far different from the mundane ordinary that he is living in as well as the conflict in his own personality Like a play of light and shadow this story weaves in and out at times being hilarious and at times dark haunting and sobering A very interesting read

I do not want to write much about this book because it was of an introduction than a storyBut if not anything the mystery of Himu's mother is enough to persuade me to continue the storyহিমুর মত এমন ভবঘুরে চরিত্র গুলো কেমন যেন interesting হয়।
