    I wanted an Instant Pot to be able to cook real food during busy times rather than being tempted by pre packaged or take out food A majority of the recipes that I have seen from other source have ingredients like cans of soup or dry mixes that I would never use Other books also have so many exotic ingredients that most home cooks don't have on hand This book has so many recipes that use real food and ingredients that I either already have on hand or would also use for multiple recipes There is nothing frustrating than buying a bunch of spices that will only be used for one recipe that you may never make again The book is organized in a way to easily find what you are interested in cooking

    This is by far the best cookbook I think I own Everything is so easy and so goodRecipes are easy to follw and include only ingredients most pantries will have on handThe book is set up very logically Having the table of contents organized by main ingredient grains rice beef pork turkey egg fish potato etc makes it easy to see what options are available based on what the reader has on handThere are many vegetarian recipes too I like itThe book has over 500 recipes Enough to keep most cooks busy and experimenting for ages One of the things I really liked about this book was how many variations there were and how easily the recipes could be altered and mixed up for completely different presentationsI had no idea my IP was so versatile and had only cooked pork and chicken in it previously When reviewing the book I've tried at least 9 recipes cinnamon steel cut oats polenta with honey and pine nuts herb turkey breast lamb curry shrimp curry seafood paella easy beef stew ham and egg casserole ratatouille All dishes came out beatifully cooked and moist

    Look at this book A gift for me I've purchased or borrowed at least half dozen instant pot cookbooks Had I known earlier what I know now I would have only needed one This book goes the extra mile of explaining the settings on the instant pot and what each does This means I am much confident using the pot for foods I may not have a recipe for She also includes recipes for each type of food you could need it for So rather than having six recipes for say pot roast each using a slightly different seasoning she has a basic recipe for each cut of meat that might reuire a slightly different techniueI first purchased the kindle edition but realized that this is a book I would use freuently and purchased the paperback I would recommend this book for anyone purchasing an Instant Pot and will probably get some for gifts when Christmas gets here Lovely book I really like to read it Nice one Well done

    No pictures to accompany the recipes which would be a nice addition However the recipes are easy to read and follow and the ingredients are every day ingredients not hard to findnever stock in your kitchen things While the recipes do have serving sizes plus prep cook time there is no mention of recommended size of instant pot to use per recipe I am assuming most are geared toward the 6t so just be aware if you have a 3t some of the recipes may be too big for your size Enjoy

    We had our Instant Pot for weeks and didn't use it was a little intimidating But with this recipe book we are using several times per week We love the simple step by step instructions especially related to the settings to use on the instant pot This pictures is our new favorite brussel sprouts recipe Love love love this book

    The book is very organized I like how easy you can find the recipe The recipe is very easy and simple to follow up and main ingredient are very easy to findI bought instant pot for a while but i never use them very often This book give me a lot of ideas and let me feel the full potential of instant potRight now i am trying the shawarma rice it tastes delicious My picky daughter love eating it too

    First off now that I've tried many of the recipes within this book I can't help but notice how many of the reviews state they haven't even used the cookbook One 5 star review is from someone who claims to not own an instant pot I'm actually a little suspect on the reviews that some might actually be fake But now for the actual reviewLet me begin by telling you the recipes I have tried hard boiled eggs meatball soup tapioca pudding steel cut banana oatmeal The eggs were fine but looking online you can actually make anywhere from 1 12 eggs and not 4 like the author states but they were fine Everything else has been awful missing flavor missing ingredients the soup has nothing to create for a broth in it and putting an egg in after the rest is cooked just makes it scramble The oatmeal didn't cook fully and the tapioca was a disaster no eggs in a custardThe recipe book itself is laid out in a very haphazard manner no real flow or pattern at all It's all lacking in pictures of anything a not pivotal thing but relatively importantTLDRI got this cookbook thinking I was getting a good beginners guide to an instant pot recipes but what I think I actually got was someone who took advantage of a hot fad I would not recommend this book to anyone and think you should really look elsewhere for a beginners instant pot book I will be returning this book as soon as possible

    WORST Instant Pot book out there Please read full review to see whyI was totally sold on this book based on the “amazing “ reviews and high star ratingsbought it started trying the recipes and experienced epic fails by following the instructions to a T first of all as many authentic reviews claim there are major editing mistakesPic 1 is of the back cover which first is talking about “Jennifer Smith” then refers to her as Jessica in the 3rd paragraph 2nd pic is of the chicken cacciatore recipe I tried and my IP kept saying “BURN” after 2 attempts the IP manual says to deglaze the bottom then try to pressurize again did that came to pressure the second time then saconds later “BURN” after wasting all that time to wait for pressurizing 2x and still not work I was NOT impressed and had to finish cooking dish in the oven and I had one hungry family waiting 3rd pic is of broccoli salad on page 223 which on step 3 says to “select manual and cook at high pressure for 0 minutes “ummm really pic 4 some fake reviews claim to have “helpful charts” and useful tips st the back of the book NOPE my book literally has 4 blank pages after the last recipe Not even an INDEX another review claimed that this book is authorized by Instant Pot and is no where indicated from front to back that it is and uite frankly I now see why many recipes don’t even call for any broth or water Which he Instant Pot manual clearly explains is necessary in order to reach proper pressurization pic 5 is of an IP cookbook I have used lots and each recipe turns out great With lots of tips and suggestions and ways to vary recipes to your own liking I bought both books at the same time and “the Instant Pot Bible” is truly a winner with recipes that actually turn out and that is officially authorized by IP don’t waste your hard earned on this cookbook by Jennifer Smith it was so obviously put together uickly no picture proof of recipes because they are FLOPSAnd for some reason they are so many bogus reviews of this book that really needs to be reported to Buyer beware

    There are lots of recipes in here that I'm likely to try even though it is an American based oneAlthough there's no photos the recipes themselves are simple to follow and don't include obscure or hard to find ingredients once you've converted into the English euivalent that is

    This book has been very useful Lots and lots of recipes that you can make with pressure cooker and save time But best of all I used these with my CrockPot version with no problemsThe bonus of using a pressure cooker is that any meat is cooked perfectly so good for pork It might feel like it could take longer with an instant cooker but you do everything in one place sauté then high pressure You can walk away and leave it when in pressure or slow great when you have busy lives

    There are no pictures in this book and some of the recipes must be wrong as they turned out very badly cooked in the instant pot Save your money and just get recipes online
